LBM1911, in the new collection a soft breakthrough in the treatments
The new FW14 L.B.M.1911 collection results from a thorough research on materials and treatments. This season is available in a more delicate version to fully respect the fabric characteristics and obtain unprecedented effects.
As follows are the main trends proposed: - Optical and Jacquard geometrical patterns: the perfect balance between fun and rigour; - Designs: Madras, Checks, Prince of Wales, Damier; - « Faux-solids »: weaved patterns such as bouclé and knop fabrics for a thicker and more consistent effect; - Colour effects tend to lighter hues - towards softer pastel shades; - Knit jackets in wool/cotton/silk and cashmere/silk/wool blends; - The “Casentino” cloth comes back, reinterpreted in an elegantly sleeker way; applicable than to more than outerwear, including blazers; - Luxury, exclusive fabrics, such as pure overdyed Cashmere or double mélange flannel in pure Silk double-twisted gauze, all dyed with an innovative gentle procedure; - Solid jackets in velvet and cotton, personalized by precious lining prints with jacquard, cashmere and floral designs in bright and vivid hues. The highlight of the season is the introduction of two new styles with a wider, big lapel, for a young and contemporary look. The unlined vest is always a must have, and is proposed in a wide range of colours and fabrics to allow the creation of personal outfits. Secondly, the capsule collection “Fly” displays a series of jackets with a British look, tartans and madras, and also knit jackets. Colours stitchings, personalized by vibrant linings and leather buttons match the colour of the finishings.
