Lubiam chooses Pitti showcase for the new pants collection Giozubon
Japan: the land of contrast, to which centuries of majestic tradition are combined with great innovations. The same dialogue between tradition and innovation characterizes Lubiam’s history. The connection with the Land of the Rising Sun strengthened in the last two years thanks to the visits of Giovanni Bianchi, Director of Product Development and creative mind of the company. Japan is not only an attentive, fresh and strategic market for Lubiam: it is above all a source of inspiration.
The Giozubon collection arises precisely from the encounter between the refined and trendy Japanese cultureand the well-established experience of the Mantuan company. Giozubon, which is the Japanese word for “Giovanni’s pants”, is an extremely precious and diversified pant collection. Its details are meticulously studied as a result of a huge research conducted by Giovanni Bianchi and his team of designers on fits, models, fabrics and colours. Conceived in the East but entirely developed and realised in Italy, this collection is produced at the Lubiam Mantuan headquarters, with exclusive Made in Italy fabrics. The FW14 Giozubon Collection is characterized by strong proposals in a wide range of colours and designs:
- Printed Wool: madras, damier, overcheck;
- Eye-catching solid fabrics in stretchy Wool/Cotton;
- Geometrical microdesigns, such as optical and jacquard;
- Elegantly printed fustian cloth, with bird’s eye and houndstooth designs;
- Velvet garment dyed cotton with geometrical printed lining.
The perfect weight of the double-twisted fabric, the very soft touch and stretchy component, guarantee an extremely comfortable fit, even in yarn-dyed fabrics and flannels. The Giozubon styles are available in three fits in order to meet every need. Alongside the Regular and the Slim, there is the new Dry fit, which is a closer fitting. The Dry style comes from a complex study that recreated pant measurements. They are targeted to a young, up-to-date and demanding public. Great attention is paid to details, from the finishings, such as tailored waistbands, button closures and pockets, to handcrafted buttons.
